About Project
The project included an architecturally designed Bambini Childcare with generous play spaces as well as five separate high-end townhouses.
The projects were separated with a dividing party wall and the works took place concurrently. The most challenging aspect of this project was access to site as the site was located on a busy corner off Burke Street in Deepdene. In consultation with our client, a methodology was devised where an entire section of the structure would not be constructed until the very end of the structural works. This allowed access for concrete pumping and cranage without the requirement for expensive road closures and traffic management.
I have worked with Shane Connaughton and his team on my last 3 projects, and I have found them to be extremely professional and easy to deal with. What sets them apart from other contractors is their excellent supervision on, and off, site as well as a high-quality work crew.
