Building Engineering engaged Kilbury Group to undertake the rebuild of the Glen Iris Fire Station. This was a challenging project due to the complex design where the Suspended Ground Slab was built over an existing batter. With assistance from the builder and our temporary works engineer we were able to come up with a design that was acceptable to all parties. The job had a 2,500m2 footprint which included retaining walls, in-situ core walls, stairs, and in-situ columns.
